Quality Processing for the Fiber Enthusiast

See what our friends are making with our yarns, roving and felt!

Wool rugs made out of jute core yarn.  We have a rug yarn machine that we have been working with.  We make the rug yarn out of processing waste.   Our friend Deb, from The Purple Fleece in Stockton Springs, Maine, created these beautiful rugs with our rug yarn.   These are beautiful, quality rugs that you would proudly display in your home!   Please call us to find out how to have rugs made out of your fiber!   Click here to learn more about Deb and her studio.

Beth Acker, from Acker's Acres Angoras in Gray Maine, breeds lovely Angora rabbits.  Her focus is on fleece production.  Beth meticulously grades the fleece into 6 categories.  This is the base for her beautiful hand dyed Angora/Merino blend yarns and roving.  She uses Super-wash Merino so that her customers can machine wash their hand knits.  Beth's specialty is a 40% Angora/60% Merino sport weight yarn that is just wonderful.  She did allow me to make her a 90% Angora/10% Merino lace weight yarn that is to die for!  Did I mention that Beth gives seminars on spinning and Angora care?  Click here for more about Beth and her work.

Look at the size of that bunny!

Lynn Deichman, from Glimmerglass Alpacas in Fly Creek NY, knitted the beautiful caplet and knitted and felted the hat.  Check out Lynn's farm!

Fran and George Mason from Harvey Brook Farm here in Springfield Kentucky, make these beautiful and unique shawl pins which double as hair pins!  They craft each one out of a selection of Cherry, Walnut, Maple, Purple Heart and Canary wood.  They also make drop spindles and shuttles.  Give us a call at (859) 336-7272 for more information!
